The premiere of Around the Requiem this evening is the final component in a series of supplementary materials created to further support An African American Requiem in our community and beyond. This larger, multi-dimensional educational curriculum package included curricular integration, in-school presentations, workshops, a live performance, and post-show interactive engagement.

a free arts and music festival for our planet

Join us for our season closing event, Earth’s Protection. A community picnic, art exhibit by Joe Cantrell, drum and dance demonstration by Four Directions, and a seated concert featuring Nancy Ives performing original work with Ed Edmo and the Oregon premiere of Mass for the Endangered featuring Fear No Music ensemble, this will prove to be an evening to remember!

The event is free, but registration is required to attend the seated concert.
