Resonance Ensemble’s resident Artistic Advisor Damien Geter curates a recital of art song by Black composers, surrounded by – and in conversation with – the artworks of the Portland Art Museum’s “Black Artists of Oregon” exhibit, the first of its kind to consider the work of Black artists collectively in Oregon. An evening of voice and piano, Geter is joined by Resonance guest artists, with songs by composers Margaret Bonds, Geter, and more.
