Join us for an unforgettable evening as we shine a spotlight on incredible women making waves in Portland’s music scene.

Resonance’s treble singers will join forces with the innovative talents of Cecille Elliott and Ringdown—a new group featuring collaborators Caroline Shaw and Danni Lee. Described as an electronic cinematic pop duo, they bring with them a Pulitzer Prize, several Grammys, and a “Best Drum Major” Award.

This collaborative extravaganza features everyone playing everyone’s music together. Resonance will perform Caroline Shaw’s "Its Motion Keeps" and other songs, with Shaw herself on the viola. Resonance and Elliott will provide backing vocals for Ringdown’s music, and Cecille Elliott will lead the full group – audience included! – in a rousing community jam session.

The program also features a world premiere commission by Elliott.
